Installation
- Download the DMG and move Tolmatch to Applications.
- Open the app. If macOS blocks it, verify the source and SHA-256 first, then allow only Tolmatch in System Settings → Privacy & Security. Start the free trial or activate your key after launch.
- Translating selected text and recognising an area need permissions — they are described below.
Permissions
Accessibility is needed to read the selected text. Turn it on in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
Screen Recording is only needed for the area you choose with ⌥S: its text is recognised on your Mac with Apple Vision. You can check the permissions in Tolmatch settings.
